Upcoming New Moderator(s)

Hello!

Trey here. I wanted to make a post about that the W&W team is looking for (a) new moderator(s). We don’t know who we are going to pick yet, but we have some people in mind. If you are looking to be a moderator now then now is the time to really be involved in the community, make forum posts, help people out, and do other things to help you stand out. Everyone has a good chance at it! So just dropping in to say, try your best!

Quick Announcement

Use the Report Button

Hello, viewers! We’ve got some very important information for you all. We want to remind you how important it is to report players who are breaking the rules. What you should do if someone comes on and starts breaking the rules, first, kindly remind them that what they are doing is in violation of the rules. If the problem persists please don’t hesitate to click the report button. That button is there for a reason, to keep you safe. All reports are read by moderators and the necessary actions are taken against the offending players. Be safe, but have fun on Wiglington and Wenks!

Some Questions and Answers

Picture 7

Greetings! As you’ve seen, this is The Mod Blog! I’m going to be writing a question and answer post here, of the most common questions we get while on Wiglington and Wenks from players. The first, is “How do I be a moderator?”. Well the answer to that can be found on the Wiglington and Wenks forum, however today I’m going to be giving a little more detail on that matter. The team (WW staff team) picks moderators based on several reasons, and no you cannot apply for it, must be appointed. So, let’s get to the how-to part in this entry. Some good things that the team watches out for when appointing a moderator are reporting bad players, helping players, following the rules, being apart of the WW community, and being respectful of others. Whining does not increase your chance of being appointed a moderator. Some of you may think being a mod is fun, that’s not quite the case. Being a moderator is a huge responsibility and hard work is required.

The next question we are asked often is “When will we be able to travel?”. Right now you’re all able to travel! However in the future after launch there will be 120 locations to choose from! The locations will be released in “phases” I guess you could call it, they won’t all be released right at the same time. That would be pretty chaotic.

Another question that’s commonly asked “How do I be a Beta?”. Well good news, you are a beta tester! Wiglington and Wenks is currently in Beta right now, and will be launched December 24th, Christmas Eve. As a beta tester it is your job to help find and report glitches! You can report a glitch by posting in the “Report the Bugs” area of the forum. Developers go on the forums often, so they will be sure to view your post and fix the bug as soon as possible.

Now that will be it for the questions, however I would like to add a few tips that may help you. If there is a trouble maker, please report them. Do not click the report button multiple times, that is counted as abusing the report feature and will be dealt with by a moderator. My next tip, never give out personal information to anyone while on the web. If the wrong person obtains your personal information, there will be problems. I would like to thank you for taking time to stop by our blog and read our posts, don’t forget to follow us on Twitter for the latest news and updates!
